Why does Bodhi not offer a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)?
Simply, because we don't have too, we have friends that do instead...

Bodhi has created some great partnerships with other providers in the industry who do offer Bachelor programmes, these are known as Initial Teacher Education (ITE) providers, and upon completion of this final year our ex-students can head straight into Teacher Registration with the Teaching Council.

Kim & Kerry have been in the ECE industry for many years and know that being recognized as a qualified ECE educator is something that needs to be achievable and therefore have safe guarded pathway options to all of our students.

The Bodhi Level 5 & 6 courses have been designed to include all components of the teaching council requirements and this is now recognized by our friends at the ITE providers who now cross credit our Level 5 & 6 graduates straight into the final year of their Bachelor programmes.

Meaning that studying with Bodhi in small cohorts with loads of support is still working towards the end goal of a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE).

If you wanted more good news, Bodhi graduates of the Level 5 & 6 programmes are also eligible for an exemption of the IELTS requirements when applying for the cross credit into the Bachelor of Teaching programmes.
